Welcome. I am a somatic practitioner and educator based in Oxford, UK, specialising in listening - to bodies and their subtle communications.

Through touch and embodiment work, I help people develop greater literacy in their own bodies, so that their signals become guides rather than problems.

My approach is rooted in reverence rather than pathologising. I attend to the ways our relational and emotional experiences inhabit tissues, to biomechanics, the role of biochemistry, and to the wisdom of the nervous system.

I have been in clinical practice since 2009 and teaching in different capacities since 2017. In 2023 I co-founded The School for Ethical Touch with Pamela Samuelson and I assist Kimberly Johnson in her in-person Jaguar workshops and on Mothering the Bones intensives in the UK.

I know the body to be a responsive, adaptive, relational and incredibly intelligent system that provides us with information and feedback about how it experiences our real-world experience - work, relationships, community, the goings on in the wider world and what it needs to heal.

Mainstream healthcare paradigms focus on identifying pathology, or what is ‘wrong’. Pathology is often understood, discussed and treated as an individual system failure. I see health as intricately woven in with and related to the state of the earth, ecosystems, political and social systems, our attachments and relationships. I also know that we have great scope within us to heal.

The relationship(s) we come to, to heal, recover and find health within are just as significant as the modality we choose to work with.

I believe that when another human is by our side we can be supported in a process of healing, change, and repair in profound ways.
