Holding our Bones
An in person one day workshop
JOIN US for A DAY OF PELVIC CARE, Through movement, breath & sound - Saturday 20th May
Join Anita Lewis and Emily Carson for a one-day in person workshop tending to the pelvic landscape.
This workshop will explore how breathing, movement, rest and sound practices tend to the tissues, bones and life force of the pelvis.
The pelvis is a significant and powerful bodily gateway. Home to daily cyclical functions of excretion and to the ebb and flow of monthly cycles. It is the site for both the sacred and the mundane. The exquisite sensory architecture of the pelvic tissues offer the possibility of experiencing pleasure. These tissues and cells hold memory and expression, respond to being listened to and require movement to remain healthy via the breath and via the whole body.
Through our years of friendship & working together, we have explored the breadths of tending to the realm of the pelvis; to its flesh, blood and bone. Together we have 50 years' collective experience of embodiment practices that we share with you. Join us in tending to this incredible landscape.
This workshop welcomes anyone with internal pelvic anatomy including gender non conforming, non binary folks and women.
